BISCUITS WITH CREAM AND STRAWBERRIES

Biscuits with cream and strawberries are a sweet dessert that looks like many small cakes. The layered presentation makes these biscuits look extra delicious and tempting. Serve the biscuits with cream cheese and fresh chopped strawberries.

12–14 BISCUITS

You need:
BISCUIT
400 g wheat flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 ts salt
100 g butter, diced
2.5 dl milk, recommends cultured milk
2 ts akasiehonning
FILL
400 g strawberries, in pieces
150 g cream cheese
2 dl whipped cream
1 ss akasiehonning

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.

Mix flour, baking powder and salt in a food processor (can also be done by hand). Add butter and mix until crumbs are formed from the dough.

Stir in milk and honey until you get a firm dough.

Pour the dough onto a floured surface. Roll the dough into a rectangle. Fold the sides towards the middle until you have a square and roll out into a rectangle again. Repeat 3 times. Roll the dough until it is 1–1.5 cm thick. Cut out circles of 10 cm.

Spread the biscuits over a baking tray lined with baking paper. To ensure that they are raised high and fine, it is recommended that they be placed tightly, preferably with a 0.5–1 cm spread. Brush the tops with a little melted butter or milk. Bake in the oven for 15 minutes.

Meanwhile, prepare the cream cheese. Whip cream cheese, whipped cream and honey to a fluffy and fine cream.

Serve the biscuits with cream cheese and fresh chopped strawberries.
