CRISPY CHICKPEAS WITH HONEY AND CHILI
Fried or roasted chickpeas are a slightly healthier and very good snack. Eat roasted chickpeas alone or use them in soups and salads for an exciting crunch. The sweetness of the honey will balance out the strong taste of chili in our recipe. Roasted chickpeas can be made sweet, salty or spicy, try your hand at finding your favorite.
Vary your taste as desired with different spice combinations

Preheat the oven to 175 degrees.

Rinse the chickpeas well in a colander, let them drain well and wipe off any remaining moisture with paper.

Stir together cooking oil, lightly heated honey, salt and chili flakes in a bowl. Turn in the chickpeas.

Pour the chickpeas onto a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake in the middle of the oven for 45 minutes. Turned a few times.

Served as a snack or as a crispy crunch in a salad
