Bona Mel Ecological Forest Honey is made by our bees from the oaks and holm oaks that are located in the Cebollera Natural Park in Soria (Spain), it is not formed from the nectar of the flowers but from the secretions from the fruit of oaks, holm oaks, etc. Our organic forest honey is dark amber in color, with a floral aroma, with a clear component of toasted cereal (malted), intense and persistent, a sweet mouthfeel, with clear salty notes and presence in the aftertaste of malting. We collect it from the hives in the months of July and August.
