Our Organic Chestnut Honey is produced by our bees that forage in the flowers of the chestnut trees in the forests of the Natural Parks located in the province of Castilla y León (Spain), located at an altitude of approximately 1,000 to 2,200 meters. Bona Mel organic chestnut honey is dark amber in color, with a floral aroma with a marked woody finish and a sensation in the mouth of a sweet taste with a salty undertone, with bitter touches if heather appears or acid if bramble appears in its compositions. We collect it from our hives in July.
